My name is Vivian Bives, and I am a 15-year-old sophomore from Austin, Texas. I’ve been riding for nine years, starting in the English discipline before discovering my true passion for reining. That shift gave me a whole new perspective on riding and fueled my dedication to continue improving every day.
I currently train with Shane Kelley, who has helped me grow tremendously as a rider and horsewoman. The guidance I’ve received has pushed me to set bigger goals, work hard in and out of the arena, and focus on becoming not just a stronger competitor but also a better teammate.
My long-term dream is to ride on a collegiate equestrian team, where I can combine my love for horses with my passion for teamwork and personal growth. I am excited to continue developing as a rider and to take the next steps toward that goal.
